It is with great pleasure that we announce that the 12th International conference on Carbonic Anhydrases: emerging advancements in the field will be held in Naples, Italy, in the period 5-7 July 2023.
The conference will be organized by the Institute of Biostructures and Bioimaging of the Italian National Research Council, the University of Florence and the University of Tampere. It will be a great opportunity to be updated with all the discoveries in the field of Carbonic Anhydrases in recent years, and to interact with leading scientists in this field who will join the conference from all over the world.
The program will cover a broad spectrum of topics in the field of Carbonic Anhydrases, including their role in human diseases, their physiological role in mammals, plants, bacteria and other organisms, and their biotechnological application.
The conference will take place at Royal Continental Hotel, located in the historical area of Naples, which is easily accessible from the airport and train station.
Naples is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, located in south of Italy at the center of the homonymous gulf “dominated” by the volcano Vesuvius. It is the city where modern pizza was originated, but that is not all. It is a historic city full of stories to tell. Its historical center is an extraordinary open-air museum where ancient and modern merge continuously. Naples is famous all over the world for its magnificent artistic and historical treasures, its Unesco Heritage sites such as Pompeii and Herculaneum and its fascinating coast and islands such as Capri, Ischia and Procida.
